One97.com, Alumni.net tie up for extended database

New Delhi, July 10 The One97.company (www.one97.com), a people search and maps service on the Internet have announced that Infophil Inc. (www.alumni.net) an alumni contact database company, will provide the ability to search its databases through One97.com.

This will enable users to search 350,000 additional e-mail addresses of Indian users registered with Alumni.net, in addition to its own databases.

With the agreement, the total contacts searchable through One97.com are in excess of 3 millions, including half a million e-mail contacts.

Rakesh Shukla, CEO, One97, remarked, 典he Indian user has not had one of the very basic utilities on the Internet, to search for and establish contact with other people, on the announcement of the relationship. 徹ne97.com will soon be extend this service with the addition of 500,000 e-mail contacts, he added.
